About the project
The project was ordered by Angola Empresa Publica De Producao De Electricidade. The whole project includes total 8 hybrid power plants scattered in various areas in Angola. Each power plant consists of diesel generators and solar power generation units. Among them, for 6 hybrid power plants, each one includes 4 units 750kW prime diesel generators, and 2MW solar power generation unit, and 30kV power distribution unit; for 2 Hybrid power plants, each one includes 2 units 750kW prime diesel generators, and 1MW solar power generation unit, and 30kV power distribution unit.
Diesel generators are customized made in the UK with highest standards to meet the rigid requirements of the project, Model AJ1100, powered by MTU engine 16V2000G26F, coupled with Stamford New Age alternator HCI634J. Insight 6000 controller system was provided, featured with care free automatic start and synchronization with all kinds of protections inbuilt.

The Challenge
It is worth to mention that to meet the critical lead time, 4 units were shipped by air cargo plane to the site to ensure the whole project progress and supply of power.
Our Solutions
All the machines are built according to the highest standard and best practice in the industry. Before dispatch, each unit machine had gone through strict PDI and factory standard loading test to make sure 100% customer satisfaction. The customer’s representatives attended the factory test for acceptance. We also provided professional engineer on-site commissioning service and comprehensive training courses to the customers engineer delegates to ensure correct and safe operation and maintenance of the power plants.
